Pool Party!

Pink and dainty as can be, like a coral from the sea?"

A weekend at Grandma's

When Daddy, Grandpa Clidence, Uncle Jeff, Uncle David and cousin Jacob went to Canada on a fishing trip, we got to spend a long weekend with cousins Kate and Andrew (and their new puppy, Cooper), Grandma Clidence and Aunt Anne! We had LOTS of adventures and even more fun!

Friends...

Adventures in Babysitting

Our good friends "Aunt" Elissa and "Uncle" Chris watched us while mommy and daddy went out for mommy's birthday.

I am quite fond of Aunt Elissa.

Ooo, Uncle Chris left his beer in reach...

I'm too cute to look mischievious...

HAHA, I love to wrestle...

Ahhhh, resting and cuddling.

They protected us from danger with Daddy's guns (just kidding, we were in bed when they were looking at them). :)

We're so lucky to have such great friends! Thank you Aunt E and Uncle C!

Oranges, oranges the wonderful fruit

Whitney has eaten the lemon's out of my water before when we've gone out to restaurants, but last night at Cheeseburger In Paradise, we ordered her a fruit plate that consisted of oranges, strawberries and pineapple. She loved it all - and ate the entire orange (4 slices). We were hoping she wouldn't have a tummy ache from all the citrus, but she seemed to do just fine!

I'm gonna be in pictures!

Through friends of my old stomping grounds FW, Lauren and Whitney were asked to be in a photoshoot for a book about nursery crafts and decor! Wee was a little apprehensive (she has MAJOR "stranger danger") but they were able to get some good shots for the project. I can't wait to see more pictures and actually get a copy of the book. I will no doubt have to ask my daughters to autograph it for me... :)

"You" by Fisher

I am such a believer in the power of music. The words, the meanings between the lines...great poetry can be delivered through a song. It's a way for people to relate without having to use their own words - be it that they don't know how, or are just too embarrassed of "exposing" their true feelings. I love music. My girls love music. I'm hoping they feel it as deeply as I do. And with that, my first (of what I'm sure will be many) dedication to my girls.

Stylin'

Mommy got me this new headband from Gymboree. It was buy one get one 1/2 off. Sissy got one too, but mommy says my face in this picture is priceless.
