Sharon Woods - First day of Spring

Last week after Strollerfit class, I decided to take Lauren and Whitney to the park. It seems like we've been waiting for Spring forever! I look forward to summer this year, as the girls adore being outside. I can see them taking it all in, like little nature sponges. Sharon Woods is such a great place to explore and meet new friends!

A little girl named Ella, who played with us for a bit (until her grandpa told her she was being "too bossy to the babies")...

Red Robin retrobution

Elissa, Meshawn and I take the girls to dinner at least twice a month. It's fun to watch the girls explore new foods. It's also funny to see how fascinated Lauren was about Mr. Robin at Red Robin...until he came to say hello...

Whitney was a little more social, but still not quite sure about the giant red bird!

Eating like "big girls"

Lauren and Whitney are getting so big. No longer is the way of solids they just pick up with their fingers. A bittersweet accomplishment. :)

"It's bizarre that the produce manager is more important to my children's health than the pediatrician." ~Meryl Streep

On being sisters

More times than not, the girls are the best of friends...

But some days, it's hard to love each other... :)

Where's the Baby?

One of the girls' favorite books is "Where's the Baby?" If I'm not reading it to them 100 times, they've memorized it so they can "read" it themselves!

Pesek's Farm: A pictorial essay

The farm is most beautiful in the summer and fall, but it was great to walk around and see winter finally melting away and all the character of the property.
