The joys of eating...

"It's bizarre that the produce manager is more important to my children's health than the pediatrician."

~ Meryl Streep

Finding new and interesting things to feed the girls gets harder and harder. They like something one day, but not the next. I have found though, anything covered in cheese, is good.

The girls love to sit by each other and "share"...

They also love holding hands. The joys of eating, indeed...

Aunt Sadie visits!

My second-to-youngest sister came down over the weekend to visit. The girls ADORED her and Lauren said "Sadie" while she was here. Lauren even asked "where's Sadie?" after she left!

While here, she cooked Scott and I an AWESOME chicken alfredo pizza on homemade dough.

I've always thought Whitney resembled Sadie with her light skin and blonde hair!

Sadie watched the girls while I went to Meshawn's wedding and they had so much fun!

Whitney had fun chasing Aunt Sadie around and getting tickled. Come back soon Aunt Sadie!

Meshawn's Big Fat [non-denominational] Wedding!

Last weekend was Meshawn and Greg's wedding! Unfortunately, I neglected to charge the batteries in my camera so had to hold out for a select few shots. Grrrr... But, the wedding was beautiful, the day was perfect (although cloudy) and the bride and groom couldn't be more perfect for each other! Congrats Greg and Meshawn!

Santoshi, the makeup GENIUS from Sephora. Meshawn was radiant!!

Scott's birthday

For Scott's birthday this year, I had his family down to surprise him. They went to our neighborhood park and with some convincing, Scott and I took a leisurely stroll down there with the girls. Once we came up to the park, he realized they were there! Sandy made delicious snacks and 2 pies and the boys played catch in the grass. Winston was able to join in the fun too. Happy birthday Scott!
