Winston Churchill Clidence

When I drove over an hour to pick out and buy Winston from a Fox Red Lab breeder 10 years ago, I fell in-love with him instantly. The breeder was even surprised at how quickly he took to me (showing his belly). I had intentions of calling him Sonny, but as we drove home I didn't think that name fit well with him. I passed a billboard of some kind (insurance, maybe?) that had a picture of Winston Churchill and it stuck.

He's quiet (at first we thought there was something wrong with his voice) but persistant, lovable, patient and sweet. He loves to be touched and doesn't care how. Baths, brushing, wrestling...he loves it all.

When the girls were born, I was a little nervous about how he'd react to them. Now, I can't imagine our lives without him. The girls adore him and he lets them do anything—ANYTHING—to him without even flinching.

Winston, loving them at 3 days old...

Whitney wrestling with him (she's doing more of the wrestling)...

Cuddling in front of the TV...

Keeping an eye on his girls while they play at the neighbor's house...

Enduring playtime...

I've never recommended a dog to anyone, but if your family is looking for a wonderful dog that loves you as much as you love him, find a breeder who sells Red Fox Labradors.
